Job Description
Contract legal consultant role at Pakistan's Privatisation Commission overseeing legal aspects of privatization transactions and litigation.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve legal structures, documentation and contractual frameworks for transactions
- Conduct legal due diligence and identify legal risks
- Manage litigation involving the Commission with internal and external counsel
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents such as SPAs, concession agreements and PPP contracts
- Advise senior management on legal, policy and governance matters
Requirements
- Law degree from an HEC-recognized university (LL.M. and bar-at-law preferred)
- At least 12 years of post-qualification experience in corporate or public-sector law
- Valid license to practice before the Supreme Court or a High Court of Pakistan
