Blue World City is one of Pakistan's largest and most ambitious housing and urban development projects, located on Chakri Road, Rawalpindi. The project is a large-scale, master-planned residential and commercial development that encompasses a vast site with ongoing construction activities, heavy machinery operations, and extensive infrastructure development. Blue World City maintains a significant on-site logistics and facilities management operation — including fuel management for its fleet and equipment — and is now looking for a responsible and experienced Fuel Pump In-Charge to manage its on-site fuel operations.
Role Overview
Blue World City is hiring a Fuel Pump In-Charge to oversee and manage the daily operations of its on-site fuel pumping and distribution facility at the Chakri Road development site in Rawalpindi. The Fuel Pump In-Charge will be responsible for supervising fuel dispensing, monitoring composition and inventory, ensuring meter accuracy, maintaining complete documentation, and preventing any fuel losses or irregularities. This is a full-time, on-site position with free accommodation and free food provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all daily fuel pump operations — overseeing the controlled and accurate dispensing of fuel to authorised vehicles, machinery, and equipment on-site
- Monitor daily fuel compositions and stock levels at the site — conducting regular physical dip measurements and reconciling against pump meter readings
- Ensure accurate meter readings at the start and end of each shift — immediately reporting and escalating any discrepancies, meter malfunctions, or anomalies
- Prepare accurate and complete daily, weekly, and monthly fuel consumption, dispensing, and stock reports for the operations and project management teams
- Implement and enforce strict fuel loss prevention measures — monitoring for shortages, pilferage, spillage, or operational irregularities and taking corrective action
- Maintain complete, organised, and up-to-date documentation for all fuel receipts, dispensing records, vehicle/equipment logs, and delivery vouchers
- Manage fuel inventory records — tracking daily opening and closing stock, deliveries received, and quantities dispensed across vehicle categories
- Coordinate with the procurement and logistics teams for timely fuel replenishment to ensure operational continuity
- Ensure safe fuel handling and storage practices at all times — maintaining compliance with fire safety, hazmat, and operational safety standards
- Maintain the cleanliness, operational readiness, and safety of the fuel pump area and surrounding facilities
Requirements
- Relevant educational qualification — intermediate or above preferred
- Previous experience in fuel pump operations, petrol station management, fleet fuel management, or a similar operational role
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail for meter readings, stock calculations, and report preparation
- Honest, reliable, and trustworthy — this is a position of operational and financial responsibility
- Good organisational skills and the ability to maintain thorough, accurate records
- Physically fit and comfortable with full-time on-site work at a large construction/development site
- Willingness to reside on-site in Rawalpindi (accommodation provided)
