National Medical College (NMC), affiliated with Tribhuvan University and recognised by the Nepal Medical Council, is located at Birgunj-15, Parsa, Nepal. The college operates a large, complex academic and clinical campus with continuous administrative operations, including overnight facilities management. To support its administrative function during night hours, NMC is seeking a reliable, professional, and responsible Night Officer to manage administrative tasks and maintain the smooth running of the college campus during the night shift.

Role Overview

National Medical College is hiring a Night Officer for its Administration department. The Night Officer will manage the administrative, security coordination, and operational functions of the college campus during the night shift. This is a responsible role requiring a professional, alert, and organised individual with good communication skills and the ability to handle administrative duties and operational situations that arise after hours. The position is full-time with a night shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the overall administrative operations of the NMC campus during the night shift — serving as the primary point of contact for all after-hours matters
• Oversee campus entry and exit management — maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, managing access control, and ensuring all persons on campus after hours are authorised
• Monitor the status of the college's facilities, hostels, and associated buildings during the night — promptly reporting maintenance, safety, or security incidents to the relevant departments
• Coordinate with the security team, housekeeping, and facility maintenance staff during the night shift to ensure smooth overnight operations
• Respond to and manage any administrative or operational queries from students, staff, or visitors during the night shift in a professional and efficient manner
• Handle administrative documentation, shift handover reports, incident logs, and night-time operational records accurately and completely
• Coordinate with hospital or clinical staff as required for administrative matters arising from the affiliated clinical facilities during the night
• Ensure all applicable college protocols for after-hours operations, safety, and emergency response are followed correctly
• Prepare and submit comprehensive shift reports to senior administration at the end of each night shift
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and institutional integrity in all interactions during the night shift

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Administration, Management, or a relevant field from a recognised institution
• Experience in administrative operations, facility management, or security coordination in a professional institution, hospital, or educational environment
• Professional, alert, reliable, and able to handle night-shift administrative responsibilities independently
• Good communication skills — English and Nepali
• Strong record-keeping, reporting, and organisational abilities
