Job Description
LinkedIn is hiring a Systems Software Engineer to build high-performance infrastructure software that powers the world's largest professional network. You'll work close to the platform, developing tools and services that serve 1 billion members with exceptional reliability.
What You'll Do
- Develop systems-level software in C++, Go, or Rust for ultra-high-throughput environments
- Build internal developer tooling for deployment automation, observability, and debugging
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in critical system code paths
- Collaborate with SRE teams to improve system reliability and reduce toil
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical blog posts representing LinkedIn Engineering
What You Bring
- 5+ years of systems programming experience in C++, Go, or Rust
- Deep understanding of OS internals, memory management, and network programming
- Experience profiling and optimising performance-critical code at scale
- Strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, concurrency
- Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source systems projects
