Role Overview
Pakistan Children Relief is hiring a full-time Video Editor & Videographer to plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for the organisation's digital platforms, donor communications, fundraising campaigns, and social media channels. The successful candidate will have strong camera handling and videography skills, advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, and a genuine passion for storytelling that creates empathy, engagement, and social impact. The role offers a competitive salary of PKR 60,000 to 70,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for Pakistan Children Relief's digital and social media platforms — including field documentation videos, campaign films, donor stories, awareness content, and organisational profiles
- Operate professional camera equipment with strong technical skill and creative vision — managing all aspects of field and studio production including framing, composition, focus, exposure, and movement
- Edit video footage in Adobe Premiere Pro — assembling cuts, colour grading, sound mixing, pacing, and producing polished, broadcast-quality final outputs
- Create dynamic motion graphics, animated infographics, titles, transitions, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects to enhance storytelling and visual communication
- Apply knowledge of lighting techniques for both indoor and outdoor shoots — using natural, artificial, and supplemental lighting to achieve professional-quality cinematography
- Perform sound editing, audio mixing, and audio enhancement — including dialogue clean-up, background music integration, and sound effects as required
- Work with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for still image editing, thumbnail creation, and graphic asset production as needed
- Collaborate with the communications and programme teams to develop compelling visual narratives that reflect PCR's field work, beneficiary stories, and organisational mission
- Manage multiple video production projects simultaneously — meeting all editorial deadlines while maintaining high production quality
- Maintain an organised archive of raw footage, project files, and completed video assets
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in videography and video editing
- Strong hands-on camera handling and field videography skills
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro — essential
- Expertise in Adobe After Effects and motion graphics production
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Strong storytelling, visual composition, and creative narrative skills
- Knowledge of professional lighting techniques for diverse indoor and outdoor shooting environments
- Sound editing, audio mixing, and audio enhancement skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines reliably
- A portfolio of previous video work is required — NGO, social impact, or documentary experience is a strong advantage
