Job Description
Pinterest is hiring a Frontend Developer to help build and scale the world's visual discovery engine. You'll develop highly performant, accessible React applications that serve over 450 million monthly active users across web and mobile platforms.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain high-traffic React.js components and features at massive scale
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to deliver polished product experiences
- Optimise web performance, Core Web Vitals, and frontend architecture
- Write thorough unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability
- Participate in technical design reviews and engineering roadmap planning
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of frontend engineering experience with React.js
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, and modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Vite)
- Strong understanding of browser rendering, performance optimization, and SEO
- Passion for building accessible, inclusive web experiences
