Job Description
Join Vibe's platform engineering team and build the automation infrastructure that powers collaborative workflows for enterprise teams. You'll design scalable distributed systems that process millions of real-time events daily in a highly reliable, low-latency environment.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement distributed services for large-scale job scheduling and real-time event processing
- Build developer-facing APIs and SDKs consumed by internal and enterprise customers
- Contribute to platform reliability through proactive monitoring, alerting, and on-call participation
- Write technical design documents and lead engineering design reviews
- Mentor mid-level engineers and contribute to engineering culture initiatives
What We Need
- 5+ years of backend engineering with distributed systems experience
- Proficiency in Go or Python for high-throughput systems
- Experience with message streaming (Kafka, Pulsar) and microservices
- Strong understanding of databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
